With our simplified process, you can rest assured that your dream home will be built with the highest quality craftsmanship, all while enjoying the process along the way. Our years of experience and commitment to customer satisfaction ensure the home we deliver not only meets your needs, but exceeds your expectations and feels like 'home.'

You do not even need to wait util you have complete architectural plans and a lot on which to build.

Our value multiplies when you bring us in from the start!

The Faber Process

Phase 1

Site and Existing Conditions

Phase 1 is where we set up a time to review your lot/s, or your existing home where the new construction is to take place. We take into consideration all the details you may or may not have considered for your custom build such as placement of the home to accommodate sunrise/sets, and protect from surrounding trees or other natural occurrences. We'll spend time with you having these discussions and also evaluating any constraints your build may pose and how to mitigate them. At this phase we will evaluate your needs and desires and recommend the best path forward on how to prepare construction documents for your project. We have highly skilled and very experienced firms we partner with to get your vision on paper.

Phase 11

Design and Drawing

At this phase we have a pretty clear understanding of what you would like to build and the site specifications, if we have not done so already we will get one of our architect or licensed designers to translate your wishes into a building design concept. This may involve sketches, drawings, 3D renderings, and preliminary site plans, floor plans, and building elevations. Any building systems, such as HVAC and plumbing, also belong in the schematic designs. We work with you during this process to add value and input from the decades of building beautiful homes.

Phase 111

Estimate, Selections and Contract

Phase III is where the design intent manifests as detailed plans and costs. This is a critical process that only a builder who has a full understanding of your individual needs, ideas, and vision can execute accurately. Selections, design elements, and finishes can greatly affect the total cost of a construction project (as well as the time to complete). Thus it is critical to thoroughly examine all details to develop and accurate cost to construct at this phase. At this point, a more realistic cost will come into view; along with your construction contract overviewing all details of your dream home on paper. We always prefer to have an in person meeting to go through the construction drawings and costs to insure full understanding of all that is included in the details. We spend extra time and care in this process to minimize uncertainty during construction when time is critical to complete the construction of your forever home.

Phase 1v

Final Selections & Construction

Your contract is signed and we are working together on the real components of your dream home! We finalize the permit set of drawings as part of a larger permit application that will be delivered to the county. Once all local agency's sign off we are on to breaking ground!! Some selections have been made as part of the estimating process, but anything that has not been 100% chosen will be finalized at this phase. The building site takes shape with the excavation, foundations, framing, etc.! A step by step of each building milestone will be presented to you, up until the final walk-through of your completed home!
